Lead our virtual CFO offering and drive high-impact advisory outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.
Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a Business Performance Lead (VCFO) to drive our virtual CFO service. You will lead the daily operations of the Business Performance team to ensure our advisory services are scalable, standardised, and commercially sustainable. Your focus will be on delivering high-impact strategic and financial planning for senior, high-trust client engagements.
This opportunity is open to candidates across Australia, with the ability to work from any of our regional or metropolitan hubs.
Your role, your contribution
- Client Delivery Leadership: Oversee the delivery of the VCFO offering, ensuring consistent quality and scope discipline. You will personally lead Strategic Planning workshops and senior advisory engagements such as board reporting and growth initiatives.
- Operational Management: Own the weekly operating cadence including work allocation, WIP control, and quality checks. You will manage the pipeline and resolve resourcing constraints to ensure timely delivery.
- Commercial Ownership: Manage a profitable portfolio by overseeing engagement economics, margins, and fee estimations. You will play a key role in proposal development and shaping solutions for new clients.
- People Leadership: Provide direct coaching and mentoring to the Business Performance team. You will focus on uplifting consulting capabilities and developing Senior Client Managers into senior advisory practitioners.
- Standardisation and Improvement: Drive the use of standard templates and methods to ensure delivery is repeatable and not dependent on individual preference. You will partner with the Head of Products and Services to implement automation and tools.
- Stakeholder Integration: Build strong relationships with Partners and Client Teams to ensure seamless handoffs and clear communication throughout the sales and delivery process.
