As part of our Data and AI Enablement team, you’ll help Zip better understand how work gets done and identify opportunities to make it simpler, more consistent and more effective. You’ll connect business processes with the risks, controls, data and technology that underpin them, creating a clearer view of how our business operates.

As our Business Process Manager, you’ll become a trusted partner to teams across Zip, establishing consistent process modelling practices, strengthening process literacy and exploring how AI and technology can help us rethink the way we work.

What you’ll own

  • Build a clear view of Zip’s critical business processes, working with functional leaders and Enterprise Risk to validate, assess and prioritise them.
  • Bring existing process information together into a structured, accessible repository that gives teams a reliable source of truth.
  • Map business processes and connect activities with relevant risks, controls, data and systems to create greater visibility across the organisation.
  • Create consistent process workflow models aligned with BPMN 2.0 and Zip’s internal process modelling standards.
  • Partner with teams to identify opportunities to redesign processes, remove inefficiencies and improve outcomes for our customers.
  • Help evolve Zip’s Process Management Framework, Policy and Modelling Standards, bringing practical insight into how they can work effectively across the business.
  • Own the administration and ongoing effectiveness of the SAP Signavio process repository and support Process Owners and Process Champions to get the most from our process management capability.
  • Support connections between process management and relevant Risk Management, Data Catalogue and Application Catalogue repositories.
  • Use approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen to identify root causes, solve problems and drive meaningful continuous improvement.
  • Explore how AI and emerging technology can simplify process management, improve self service and create smarter ways of working.
  • Champion new ways of working, helping teams understand and adopt process changes and building greater process literacy across Zip.

  • Extensive experience in business process management, business analysis or a related discipline, with the ability to work across complex organisations.
  • Strong business process analysis, mapping, design and improvement capability, including impact analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Experience applying BPMN 2.0 and using process modelling platforms, ideally SAP Signavio or a comparable enterprise process management tool.
  • A strong understanding of how business process management connects with enterprise architecture, risk management, data and technology.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen to identify root causes and improve business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, with an ability to turn complexity into clear and practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills, including the confidence to influence and collaborate with people across different functions and levels.
  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project management experience would be valuable.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
