THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Case Manager within our National Self- Insurance business unit, you will support injured workers and employers through the recovery and return to work journey.

You will manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims, providing timely, empathetic, and customer-focused support while ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice guidelines.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Parramatta, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely and sustainable outcomes.
  • Provide early intervention, support, and guidance to injured workers and employers throughout the recovery and return to work process.
  • Deliver a customer-focused claims experience through clear communication and effective stakeholder management.
  • Coordinate claims reviews, case conferences, and engagement with healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure claims are managed in line with legislation, compliance requirements, and internal frameworks.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience managing workers’ compensation claims or a similar case management role.
  • Strong understanding of the claims lifecycle, recovery, and return to work principles.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering customer-focused outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Empathetic approach with a commitment to supporting injured workers and achieving positive outcomes.
