THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of our diverse team based in Sydney, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

You will be part of the Disputed Claims Portfolio team, responsible for managing claims where liability has been denied and litigation has commenced. These matters will see you collaborating closely with internal and external legal providers to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely resolution.

This will be a full-time, 12 month maximum term contract position based in the Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboard new cases and provide case management support through the litigation process

  • Facilitate the payment of entitlements ordered by the Personal Injury Commission (PIC)

  • Prepare claims for re-assignment to new teams based on circumstances following litigation outcomes.

  • This role provides a great stepping stone for those interested in the legal management of claims and offers an opportunity to build on traditional case management experience.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills and be able to respond quickly and effectively to urgent requests

  • Read and interpret claims to provide accurate and timely responses

  • Be a proficient computer user, with the ability to navigate software systems and databases effectively

  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to engage in complex conversations with empathy and professionalism

  • Take a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to a supportive and constructive work environment
