THE OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Sydney George Street office with opportunity to work from home up to 3 days considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in reviewing and managing a portfolio of claims, learning how to make sound claims management decisions in line with company policies and procedures
  • Support the development and ongoing updating of Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to help injured workers return to work safely and sustainably
  • Help identify potential challenges that may impact return to work outcomes and contribute to practical solutions under guidance from experienced team members
  • Build a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies and best-practice claims management over time

ABOUT YOU

  • We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow:
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Background in administration, office support, customer service or a similar role
  • Ability to learn and confidently use multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative
