This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you’ll deliver actionable insights across pricing, category health, and market intelligence—empowering smarter, faster commercial decisions. Working closely with Category Managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll support pricing strategies, promotional planning, performance reporting, and financial modelling to fuel business success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct in-depth pricing analysis, identify optimisation opportunities, and support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
  • Track industry trends, competitor strategies, and market shifts to inform category and product strategies.
  • Develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor pricing effectiveness, promotional impact, sales, and margin trends.
  • Build models to evaluate pricing and cost changes, forecasting their impact on profitability and business performance.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and BI to align strategies, share insights, and enhance reporting processes.
     

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in pricing, category, or commercial analysis, with a strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategies.​
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Looker, enabling effective data visualization and analysis.​
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, data analytics, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for analytical tasks.​
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data for non-technical audiences and fostering cross-functional collaboration.​
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, managing ambiguity and competing priorities effectively.​
  • Proactive and curious, with a passion for building processes, tools, and strategies that support business scaling and continuous improvement.
