We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Change Lead, reporting to Executive Manager, Strategic Planning & Prioritisation.
A bit about your role
The Change Lead is responsible for driving, coordinating, and embedding change across major programs to improve operational capability, working closely with teams. The role centres on building strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to implementing new capabilities and delivering improvements.
It involves developing and executing change, communication, and enablement plans; supporting workstreams with communication materials and training; managing risks, impacts, and dependencies; and ensuring stakeholders are fully engaged and aligned throughout the program. With regular interaction at executive levels, the role plays a critical part in ensuring new capabilities are effectively deployed, adopted, and sustained across the organisation.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate brings wealth of industry experience, preferably within a matrixed organisation, along with a strong background leading large‑scale business improvement and operational transformation programs. They have a solid understanding of telecommunications technologies, the ability to analyse complex problems from multiple stakeholder perspectives, and deep expertise in ADKAR and best‑practice change methodologies. They are also skilled at influencing and communicating with senior executives, internal teams, external partners, and delivery stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong planning and organisational capability, including experience developing enablement and change management plans within agile programs, as well as the ability to gather, prioritise, and deliver change activities across diverse groups. The role calls for strategic thinking, resilience, adaptability, conflict‑resolution skills, and confidence in navigating challenging conversations with senior leaders. The candidate should also be capable of producing high‑quality communication materials, delivering training and workshops, and assessing implementation outcomes to ensure successful adoption of change.
