Job Description

  • Lead and manage the change initiatives for a large-scale programs of work

The Change Manager will provide organisational change management support to key projects (projects could be people, process, technology or customer focused). The Change Manager is responsible for managing the impact of change to ensure our business & our people are ready, willing and able to accept the change into their day-to-day working lives.  

To achieve the above, the Change Manager will work with the Project team and impacted business areas in the following key areas: leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessing, change strategy & planning, change readiness, management & delivery. The role may involve working on a single strategic transformation program or project, or multiple small to medium projects / initiatives as required.  

A critical success factor for the Change Manager is that they bring stakeholders on the change journey from the start, from building and aligning on strategic intent, to change project implementation and transition to BAU.  

You’ll have:  

  • 6+ years of Change Management experience 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change Management or equivalent industry experience  

  • Proven track history of change management delivery on complex projects across multiple business groups.  

  • Strategic stakeholder skills (both internal and external).  

  • Experience of risk and issue management.  

  • People management expertise.  

  • Project management experience 

  • Highly self-motivated, with strong ability to deliver under pressure and manage time  
    as needed.   

  • Excellent relationship management skills and strong customer focus with the ability  
    to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external  
    stakeholders.   

  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders at different organisational levels with the  
    ability to work closely with senior leaders and frontline staff.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to effectively address even the most  
    resistant stakeholders and challenging situations.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.  

  • Proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information.
