We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Australia to make a difference as our Channel Marketing Manager in the Mobile Experience (MX) division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your assigned partner account to drive sell-out through 'best in class' marketing solutions. You will have a good understanding of the marketing mix and be strong at working with data and insights to drive end-to-end solutions across digital & social, brand, media and in retail.
You will also partner closely with the National Account Manager and other stakeholders to identify unique opportunities to deliver against business objectives, whilst carefully tracking budgets and results.
Role and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning

Bring together the best of Samsung and the best of your assigned account to create an exclusive differentiated channel marketing proposition and strategic marketing plan, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all key stakeholders

Formulate key strategic pillars that will drive growth in your account
Marketing Execution

Be hungry and relentless in pursuit of delivering best in class marketing campaigns, learning from yours and your peers campaigns to drive improvements

Be proactive with the brand and product team to ensure you are up to speed on any new initiatives / campaigns or any amends / changes to existing campaigns

Ensure you are staying up to date with trends, tools and techniques that can help drive your account and Samsung's marketing team
Channel Partner Relationship

Have a deep understanding of your assigned account to ensure we are able to maximise all opportunities to grow together

Fully understand their brand, financial & operational structure, customer audience and product offerings
Operations & Project Management

Show fantastic operational skills to deliver projects and campaigns that are best in class, inside and outside of category

Working with your account stakeholders, ensuring complete control of the financial running of your assigned account (Telstra) including co-operative marketing funds

Plan, set and deliver strong annual / quarterly and monthly budget plans

Always be looking for opportunities to drive efficiencies

Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Skills and Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in channel/partner/trade marketing, working across the marketing mix

Excellent relationship management skills; proven ability to collaborate and influence outcomes; experience managing both client and agency relationships

Ability to manage large budgets and/or P&Ls

A growth mindset open to learning, creative problem solving and change

Ability to think creatively and pivot when necessary

Resilience, adaptable and agile - able to work well in a fast-paced environment and navigating changes
