You will: Own Yodo1's publishing business in China end to end — bringing Western titles to Chinese players, shaping the products to win there, and leading the LiveOps and development team that makes it happen.

Must have: A proven record of launching and scaling mobile and/or PC games in mainland China, hands-on ownership of the ISBN and compliance process, and the product instinct to know what the Chinese market wants.

WHO WE ARE | WHAT WE DO

At Yodo1, we don’t just grow games—we help turn them into household names.

With billions of downloads across our portfolio, we’ve spent more than a decade shaping the growth of iconic titles. From helping first-time creators monetize their debut games, to bringing world-class IPs from Hasbro, Paramount, Legendary, and Sony Pictures into the hands of top studios such as Rivergame, Candivore, 37Games, and Tencent Studios—we’ve proven what’s possible when creativity meets global expertise.

Yodo1 Games is raising the bar: transforming great titles into lasting franchises that define gaming for generations. Drawing on experience with successes like Transformers: Earth Wars, Rodeo Stampede, and Ski Safari, we provide the systems, partnerships, and global reach that help visionary developers build worlds players will return to for decades.

Joining Yodo1 Games means more than a job—it means becoming part of a team that lives and breathes games, works with some of the most talented creators in the industry, and is driven by a mission to shape the future of gaming.

We love games. We play games. And together, we grow games that last.

WHAT WE BELIEVE | HOW WE WORK

We believe in the future and power of the mobile gaming industry and that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to build a life they love through games—from anywhere in the world.

We believe you know when and where you do your best work. We are fully remote by design and we WFA: Work From Anywhere. We don’t impose hours or limit time off.

We are driven by performance and we experiment often. We care about impact, not titles.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Yodo1 is looking for a China Publishing Lead to lead our publishing business in mainland China.

We hold the China operating rights to a growing slate of games from Western studios, titles like Rodeo Stampede and Pocket Champs, and we're actively expanding that slate. You will own how these games reach Chinese players, how they evolve to fit the market, and how they perform commercially.

You are:

  • Focused on impact. You understand the 80/20 rule and focus on activities that matter.

  • Performance-driven and growth-oriented. You have an intrinsic will to succeed while unafraid to try, fail, and learn by experimenting with new approaches and testing ideas.

  • Cooperative. You help others succeed; you give and receive feedback well.

  • Relentlessly curious. You ask questions.

  • Humble. You ask for help; you are quick to admit and learn from your mistakes.

  • SMART. You work and communicate in ways that are Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

WHAT WE EXPECT

You will:

  • Lead our publishing strategy for games in China, establishing the right partnerships to ensure successful publishing of our games across all popular platforms in China including PC, mobile and mini-games platforms

  • Define the product direction for our games in China—what our existing titles need to grow, and what our future titles need to be

  • Lead the China publishing team, adapting Western games for China: localization, channel SDKs, payment, anti-addiction, and market-specific content

  • Build go-to-market plans that reflect how Chinese players discover and play games

  • Identify, establish and strengthen relationships with key gaming platforms, influencers, and communities

  • Support the BD team in qualifying publishing opportunities and selecting games that fit the Chinese market

  • Shape business models and positioning to maximize growth and long-term success and manage the P&L for CN Publishing and ensure strategy delivers measurable results

You must have:

  • A proven track record in China game publishing. You've launched, operated, and scaled mobile and/or PC games in mainland China

  • Product judgment. You've shaped games to fit into a market, not just ship them into it. You can tell us why a game will or won't work in China and be right

  • Direct experience with ISBN applications, anti-addiction requirements, and content compliance

  • Commercial ownership. You've shaped business models, owned a P&L, and delivered measurable growth

  • Leadership experience. You've managed a team across production, live-ops, and engineering

  • Native or fluent Mandarin, with professional English for cross-border collaboration

You might have:

  • Expert knowledge of Chinese channels. Hands-on with submission, review, and back-end portals across the major Android stores, the Apple App Store in China, and mini-game platforms

  • Experience publishing games outside of China

  • Established relationships with contacts at major Chinese publishing channels

  • Experience working with teams across different locations, cultures, and time zones

WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation. We pay based on qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. We provide an allowance to purchase your own device or equipment and offer variable compensation through our annual bonus program.
