Job Description:

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Sydney

Salary: $90,000 -$100,000 including super

Role Purpose: As a Client and Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies and managing consulting projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with the Strategy & Insights team and Production teams to deliver strategic insights and innovative solutions. You will provide support and assistance in all areas of managing the client’s business and keeping day to day marketing activities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities: Overall

• Works collaboratively with colleagues and (where appropriate) local markets across Dentsu to meet client service needs

• Coordinates activity ensuring projects and plans deliver against objectives and on time/budget

• Supports Client Manager and wider team with general client liaison and administration

• Connects with client to support delivery of communication and service

• May research new market trends to incorporate into planning

Account Management:

  • Manage the fulfilment of consulting projects.
  • Prepare, manage, and track project progress using approved plans.
  • Review and understand briefs with the Consultant.
  • Develop strategic solutions for clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key suppliers.
  • Facilitate collaborative brainstorms and develop preferred concepts.
  • Research and investigate the feasibility of concepts.
  • Liaise and negotiate with potential suppliers and partners.
  • Manage the creative process from briefing to final art.
  • Handle legals, including permits, T&Cs, and event requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production team on event management

Finance / Profitability:

  • Source quotes, quote projects, and manage invoicing.
  • Oversee budget management on active projects.
  • Reconcile and balance completed projects.

Business Development:

  • Gather insights and assist in presentation design.
  • Review and improve consulting operations.
  • Create personalised presentations for business needs.
  • Collaborate with the dentsu network to unlock opportunities.

Job Controls:

  • Support achievement of revenue targets.
  • Apply strategic insight and project management skills to pitch work.

Other:

  • National role focused on Marketing Services.
  • Collaborate with global offices as required.

Personal Specification:

Experience:

  • 4 years of agency experience in a similar role.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Commerce, or related industries.

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of the media, and marketing landscape.
  • Strong project management and presentation design skills.
  • High level of written and oral communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Confidence in building relationships and negotiating with partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
