Job DescriptionWho You'll Work With
As a team member of the Arista Sales team, you are the face of Arista to our customers; their internal champion for the problems they need to solve. As their champion you will align Arista’s technical resources to achieve your customer’s business outcome. You’ll partner with some of the most skilled Customer Engineers in the industry in addition to Professional Services and our Executive teams to help them understand how to execute on your customer’s behalf. Our sales teams have a culture of team success, where you’ll collaborate and be supported by like minded sales professionals. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
What You'll Do
As an AI lead – Client Director, you will be a senior consultative sales leader driving enterprise-level growth across Australia’s largest strategic customers. You will champion the adoption of next-generation AI infrastructure, cloud, and neo-cloud solutions, partnering with product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver transformative business outcomes. This role operates at a growth-focused frontier of AI-powered solutions, requiring deep enterprise selling experience, a strong grasp of AI and cloud ecosystems, and a proven ability to close complex, high-value deals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within a named list of major enterprise accounts.
- You will be responsible for utilizing a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and siloed legacy IT systems across the Arista product portfolio including; Software-Driven Cloud Networking solutions, EOS (Open Source Network OS), Cognitive Campus Networking, WIFI Campus networking, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Monitoring Fabric solutions in addition to NDR, Endpoint and AI driven Network Identity Access security solutions.
- Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Arista’s value proposition.
- Partner with Arista Pre-Sales Engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
- Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers.
- Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns and technology forums.
- Collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.
Qualifications
You are a seasoned Client Director – AI with a proven track record of driving strategic growth across Neo Cloud providers, hyperscalers, and AI-native cloud platforms. You excel in building executive-level partnerships and shaping large-scale AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, and next-generation data center initiatives.
You understand the unique dynamics of Neo Cloud — rapid scale, infrastructure-first buying centers, AI workload optimization, and ecosystem-driven growth. You are equally comfortable engaging with C-suite leaders, cloud architects, AI platform teams, and infrastructure decision-makers.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- This role is open to candidates currently based in Singapore, Sydney, or Bangkok with the legal right to work.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent in addition to 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of closing complex, strategic deals at scale in technology, cloud, or AI related sectors.
- Experience selling AI platforms, cloud services, data infrastructure, or adjacent enterprise software solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, neo-cloud concepts, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise digital strategy.
- Demonstrated success managing large customers and strategic accounts with multi-stakeholder engagements.
- You possess relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) or data center industry product selling experience from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner or end user is a a requirement.
- Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
- Exceptional relationship building and executive-level communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, influencing, and closing capabilities.
- Ability to operate with autonomy, manage ambiguity, and prioritize in a fast-paced sales environment.
- You possess previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas; Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper converged infrastructure or Cloud computing.
