Owns the end-to-end professional services sales process, from developing new business and enterprise accounts through opportunity conversion and delivery alignment. Builds strategic client relationships, manages account plans and deal strategies, develops pipelines, and collaborates with sales, consulting, recruitment, and AWS partner teams. The role also contributes to go-to-market strategy and uses AI tools to enhance sales cycles and customer-facing content.

You’re looking to join a business where you can establish and grow your own client base, bringing new, interesting engagements into Cevo and owning the end to end process from opportunity through to delivery. You’ll work closely with the sales, consulting and recruitment teams and will ensure the pipeline of work is aligned to the skills and capabilities of our team.
Key to success will be your demonstrated ability to build strong, strategic relationships with clients, based on integrity, trust, and mutual respect.
- A minimum 5 years proven track record in the acquisition of new business, within a technology services or consulting company (AI, Data, Software Engineering, Cloud aligned to AWS experience preferred)
- Existing experience in building out Enterprise Accounts in Australia, ideally selling into financial services, healthcare, government, education, energy & utilities or retail
- An entrepreneurial attitude to build your own client base and create, as well as influence Cevo’s go to market strategies
- Excellent communication skills including negotiation, influencing and problem solving mindset
- A desire to build and contribute to a culture that has evolved as a collaborative hive of technology professionals, who love sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues, clients, and the broader IT community.
- Solid Stakeholder Management, along with strong relationship building skills
- Strong focus on Business Development along with Account Management
- Demonstrate use of AI tooling like Co-Pilot, Claude Co-Work and Amazon Quick to augment your sales cycles and creation of customer facing content.
- Demonstrate successful co-sell experience with partners like Amazon Web Services
- Demonstrate Account Planning and Deal Strategy experience
