Our Client Directors are accountable for the overall success of FNZ's relationship with its customers, ensuring high-quality delivery of both project and operational services while maximising revenue growth and commercial outcomes.


The role is responsible for customer satisfaction, the ongoing growth and development of customer platforms, and partnering with clients to support their strategic objectives. This includes overseeing the successful delivery of technology and business change programmes, ensuring product, investment administration, custody and technology support services meet contractual service standards, and driving enhancement and service revenue opportunities across the portfolio.


The responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the primary relationship owner and escalation point for a portfolio of customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of platform services, ensuring project and operational delivery meets agreed service standards.
  • Lead regular operational, strategic and executive customer reviews, communicating performance, priorities and roadmap developments.
  • Manage technology and business change programmes against agreed milestones, budgets and quality standards.
  • Partner with internal technology, operations, delivery, risk, compliance and legal teams to ensure customer commitments are delivered.
  • Develop and maintain account plans that support customers’ strategic objectives while identifying growth opportunities.
  • Drive enhancement, service revenue, cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing customer relationships.
  • Monitor customer risks, service issues and regulatory obligations, ensuring actions are resolved within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage customer audits, reviews and reporting requirements, including the timely closure of findings and risk events.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Proven experience in client leadership, account management, relationship management or strategic customer-facing roles within financial services, wealth management, platforms or fintech.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience identifying growth opportunities and delivering revenue outcomes within existing client portfolios.
  • Experience leading complex client engagements, including large-scale technology, operational or business change initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and drive successful outcomes across multiple teams.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a track record of delivering high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
  • Strong understanding of platform, investment administration, custody, wealth management or superannuation services would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to analyse complex business challenges, mitigate risks and make sound commercial decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging at executive and Board level.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with the ability to lead through influence, drive accountability and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
