Join our AI Business Solutions Team as a Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer, where you will lead the technical strategy and execution for transitioning enterprise endpoints to the cloud. This role is deeply technical, requiring expert-level proficiency across Microsoft’s endpoint and virtualization solutions, including Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, Defender and Cloud Native Management.

 

As a trusted technical advisor in pre-sales engagements, your mission is to win the

technical decision by delivering tailored demonstrations, orchestrating proof-of-concept deployments, and leading whiteboarding sessions that align with customer

business outcomes. You will partner closely with AI Workforce Specialists and field

sellers to uncover customer challenges, architect secure and scalable endpoint

solutions, and drive adoption of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.

 

As a Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer for the Majors Growth segment, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Microsoft’s AI transformation and core business growth by owning the technical win strategy across assigned solution plays. This role is deeply technical, responsible for leading consultative engagements, delivering compelling solution demonstrations, and driving customer intent to adopt Microsoft technologies such as Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and Cloud Native Management. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer ensures alignment between customer challenges and Microsoft’s solution capabilities to secure technical decisions and enable successful handoffs to post-sales teams.

 

In addition to technical leadership, the role emphasizes execution rigor, partner engagement, and continuous learning. The Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer contributes to Microsoft’s competitive edge by removing technical blockers, sharing actionable feedback, and fostering a culture of peer-to-peer learning. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about driving impact through technical excellence, customer obsession, and collaborative execution. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 40% from home.


Responsibilities
  • Lead technical engagements for Microsoft 365, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, and Entra ID by delivering tailored demos, whiteboarding sessions, and solution envisioning workshops.
  • Own the technical win strategy for assigned solution plays (e.g., Scale with Cloud and AI Endpoints, Secure AI Productivity), and drive customer intent through value-based solution design and proof.
  • Identify and remove technical blockers, deconstruct competitor architectures, and articulate Microsoft’s differentiators to win competitive deals.
  • Collaborate with partners in sell-with scenarios, co-owning technical execution and ensuring partner readiness and alignment.
  • Execute technical close plans and document customer intent and blockers in MSX Timeline and Customer Success Plans to ensure seamless hand-off to CSU/FastTrack.
  • Achieve L200 in consultative selling and L400 in technical depth across key workloads; share learnings from deal outcomes to improve team performance and GTM strategy.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

  • 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles.
  • L200 consultative and L400 technical certifications (or equivalent experience).
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR equivalent experience

 

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)


  • 12+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
  • 8+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Endpoint Management, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, etc.)
