As the leading global IT distributor, we strive to lead the next generation of technology and talent. Whether you’re applying for your first role or you’re a seasoned professional, here is a great opportunity to seize and develop your career in the technology industry alongside our network of best-in-class vendors and caring and collaborative co-workers.

This is a great opportunity to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence supporting the partners who power Australia's IT channel. As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you'll be the frontline technical contact for our Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners across Microsoft (Modern Work and Azure) and AWS — helping them deliver exceptional outcomes to their end customers. You'll also get the chance to step beyond day-to-day support and contribute to hands-on project work, including cloud migrations, implementations, and emerging AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys solving real partner problems, knows their way around cloud platforms, and wants to grow inside a team that genuinely invests in its people.

What you'll do

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for Microsoft CSP (Modern Work, Azure) and AWS partner queries.

  • Help partners with onboarding, provisioning, billing, and technical troubleshooting.

  • Support partners adopting AI services across the Microsoft and AWS stacks — including Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock.

  • Manage tickets escalated to Microsoft or AWS through to resolution.

  • Contribute to project work such as cloud migrations, implementations, and AI enablement engagements alongside our solution architects.

  • Maintain accurate records in the service desk system and contribute to our knowledge base.

  • Collaborate with local solution architects and our regional and global support teams.

  • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in an on-call support roster as required.

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and partner program requirements.

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years in a cloud support, service desk, or partner-facing technical role.

  • Strong customer focus and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CSP programs (Modern Work and Azure) and AWS.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, and Azure subscriptions.

  • Understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, and similar).

  • Genuine curiosity about AI and how it's reshaping the partner landscape.

  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Freshdesk, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving instincts and a willingness to dig in and find the answer.

Highly regarded

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, MS-900, AZ-104, or AI-900.

  • AWS certifications such as Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or AI Practitioner.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or other AI/ML services.

  • Prior experience working with channel partners, resellers, or in IT distribution.
