The ClearScore Commercial Team plays a unique role in shaping user experiences. We are creating industry-leading relationships and integrations with financial institutions; our technology and our developers enable the creation of the next generation of consumer-facing financial technology. Responsible for partner relationships and commercial strategy, this team are on the front lines of innovation and play a key role in determining how to deploy ClearScore resources across our talented Product, Tech and Analytics teams to make the ClearScore marketplace the best place to shop for credit products.

The Role:
As a Commercial Executive, you will play a key role in building deep relationships with some of the most exciting finance providers in Australia and NZ, as well as building a deep, data-driven understanding of the drivers of value in the marketplace. You will typically work with all levels from CEO down in credit risk, product, marketing and agency contacts at financial organisations from big banks to up and coming fintech players and non-traditional lenders. You will support the Commercial team on the core business and drive expansion into new verticals and new partnerships in Australia and NZ.
You will represent the voice of our partners to the broader business, working closely with the product team and 30+ partners on continual optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel. You will manage commercial relationships with existing partners, as well as source, build your pipeline and negotiate deals with new partners. You will also dive deep into our platform's rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights, produce reports and spot trends.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the day to day contact for key lending partners in Australia and New Zealand, covering marketplace performance, revenue reporting and ongoing initiatives.
- Support the Commercial team to track weekly and monthly performance against key business metrics, and when needed leverage performance data to provide revenue forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and CRM team on the ideation to execution and performance optimisation of commercial campaigns and activity.
- Deepen relationships with our lending partners to understand their goals and challenges to balance product availability and accessibility for ClearScore users.
- Partner cross functionally with the Product team to improve the marketplace user experience, assist in prioritizing tech resources by forecasting the impact of new initiatives, and liaise with Analytics on complex data needs beyond self-serve capabilities.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to inform business strategy.
- An understanding of the ANZ credit/lending landscape, market dynamics, business operations.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the problems we are solving, and an ability to use creativity and initiative in pursuit of goals.
- Ambitious, a high-performance track record, and ready to take on responsibility quickly.
- A growth mindset with a passion for learning and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Experience working within the Financial Services/credit landscape and an understanding of how credit decisions are made is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the risk decisioning process for credit providers, especially in Credit Cards is an advantage.
- Previous work experience in the following would be beneficial, but not a requirement:
- business development
- consumer finance or B2B tech company

Our Hybrid Model:
