Commercial and Operations Manager

PMX is the central investment practice for Publicis Media, responsible for the smart application of investment by leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships and intelligence.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

At APEX, we aim to balance operational excellence with commercial success. As the Operations and Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation.

Some of the key areas of focus are:

• Streamlining workflows and implementing automation to enhance efficiency.

• Developing strategies to maximise revenue.

• Ensuring all operations meet regulatory standards and managing risks effectively.

• Overseeing inventory to ensure optimal levels and reduce waste.

• Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the organisation.

• Leading and developing a high-performing team.


KEY OUTPUTS

TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

• Drive accountability with clear roles and accountabilities

• Establish SMART goals that are outcome-based

• Workload management

• Embed PMX Values

COMMERCIAL

• Power BI dashboard management - agencies and brands where relevant

• Drive forecasting accuracy with commercial APEX leads

• Optimised revenue management – Salesforce Automation, revenue reconciliation, AQ’s, revenue discrepancies, media reconciliation

• Senior stakeholder enterprise revenue reporting

• Efficient inventory management –usage, cost of inventory, accurate forecasting

• Tracking of revenue delivery – pacing, risk management

• Partner prioritization

OPERATIONS

• Workflow optimization with a focus on continuous improvement

• Salesforce automation

• Inventory Management

• Manage APEX Operation process guides

• Manage workloads

• Partner prioritization/ de-prioritization

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

· 6-10 experience in operations/ commercial role

· Demonstrated experience in process improvement

· Proven track record in driving revenue growth

· Experience in leading teams

· Experience in budgeting, financial planning, financial performance analysis

· Compliance and Risk management

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong leadership skills
