About LegalVision

LegalVision provides unlimited legal support to businesses of all sizes through our innovative fixed-fee membership model. Using custom-built technology, we deliver fast, high-quality legal advice with predictable pricing - creating better outcomes for clients and more rewarding careers for our lawyers.

With teams across Australia, the UK and New Zealand, we've been recognised as a 5 Star Employer of Choice, Top 25 Attraction Firm, and Law Firm of the Year. We're growing rapidly, and we're looking for talented lawyers who want to be part of something different.

The Opportunity

Due to the ever-increasing number of large national and multinational clients we support through our highly-regarded legal membership solution, we are recruiting an experienced commercial lawyer to join our Enterprise team as a Senior Lawyer in a newly created role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leading in-house legal teams and Australia's biggest companies, acting as a trusted legal advisor while building deep exposure to complex, high-volume commercial work at scale. Our clients include national retailers, financial institutions, tech and other software businesses, and household names across a variety of industries.

Our legal membership provides large enterprises and corporate clients with flexible, on-demand legal support that integrates directly with their in-house legal function. Rather than engaging external lawyers on a transactional or hourly rate basis, clients gain access to dedicated LegalVision lawyers who assist with their business-as-usual legal needs. This allows in-house legal teams to scale efficiently, manage workflow peaks, and access specialist expertise without having to hire.

As a Senior Lawyer in the Enterprise team, you will deliver technically excellent, efficient, and pragmatic legal support across a broad range of commercial matters, while also playing an important role in supporting and supervising junior lawyers and graduates.

We welcome applications from fully remote candidates within Australia, who currently hold an Australian Legal Practising Certificate and full work rights.

Your Responsibilities
  • Act as an extension of clients’ in-house legal teams, providing high-quality, responsive and practical commercial legal advice.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, services, sponsorship and licensing agreements.
  • Advise on general commercial matters, corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues, including Australian Consumer Law and Privacy Law.
  • Manage multiple client matters simultaneously, adapting to different business cultures and working styles.
  • Build strong relationships with in-house counsel and key business stakeholders.
  • Support the supervision, training and development of junior lawyers and graduates.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including attending client events, webinars, sales meetings and conferences.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Admitted to practise on an unrestricted basis in Australia with at least 4 years' post qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
  • Strong technical expertise in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Experience advising on general commercial and regulatory matters across diverse industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with highly sophisticated clients.
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.
  • Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of junior lawyers and graduates.
Benefits
  • Get exposure to a diverse range of clients and legal matters, and develop close relationships with your clients.
  • Build strong supervision skills.
  • Enjoy flexibility, autonomy and working within an incredible team, all while supercharging your career.
  • Have the ability to meaningfully contribute to the growth and direction of LegalVision.
  • Earn additional ‘LV Leave’ days, plus paid birthday leave, volunteering leave, and parental leave.
  • Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
  • Regular team socials, drinks and team lunches.
  • Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills super close to Central Station with flexible work-from-home options, or fully remote work for those not located in Sydney.
