Join the delivery team working on a state‑funded, greenfield wastewater treatment plant at Chambers Flat. This $350M project includes the WWTP and two conveyance pipelines servicing Park Ridge and Yarrabilba.

About the project
Logan Water has secured funding under Queensland’s Residential Activation Fund to fast‑track the Chambers Flat WWTP with land acquired and the design and planning well advanced. Construction is programmed to commence on treatment plant site from early 2026. You’ll operate within a mature, long‑term program alongside Logan Water and Alliance Partners WSP and Stantec.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager - Qld, the Commercial Manager is responsible for delivering commercial strategy, optimising revenue opportunities, mitigating project risk, and managing key contracts and stakeholder relationships. This role involves commercial planning, financial oversight of projects, negotiating major contracts, driving Project performance and ensuring profitable business growth in alignment with organisational goals.

You will have leadership of, and accountability for, the Contracts team on the Project (and others as required), acting as the initial escalation point for commercial, contractual, legal, procurement, subcontractor performance, financial, risk and opportunity, governance and project delivery matters.

What we are looking for 

  • A tertiary qualification in Commercial / Contract Management or related discipline (e.g. finance, contract law, project manager or engineering) is preferred.

  • Demonstrated commercial management capability in a comparable business environment, with a minimum of five years’ experience operating at this level on major projects.

  • Understanding of the broader utilities sector, preferably within water, energy or infrastructure environments.

  • Strong contract management experience in the delivery of projects
