Role Overview

In this role, you will support the administration of new business and renewal processes across Circana’s manufacturer relationships. You’ll support the team by managing and streamlining the administrative tasks across the entire sales cycle—from our opportunities pipeline to client onboarding and post-sales CRM management ensuring accuracy at every stage.


Working closely with CPG, and Finance teams, you’ll coordinate processes, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Your ability to analyze data, streamline workflows, and problem-solve will be critical to delivering seamless execution.


The role requires the ability to quickly learn Circana internal systems and understand the data they house, apply critical thinking to solve problems with minimal guidance, and set-up, manage and analyze multiple complex Excel files alongside Power BI dashboards, Dynamics, and Unify reports. The ideal candidate will be a team player, interested in establishing best practice ways of working, and capable of implementing those across the team.  They will also learn and connect all steps of the sales and renewal process to support the team in seamless execution.


Job Responsibilities

 

Administer the client sales and renewal process:

  • Develop expertise in the Dynamics and PowerBI commercial tools and work closely with the application team to problem-solve any issues
  • Work alongside the team, setting up their new clients and new opportunities in the system
  • Manage complex renewals and adjustments in the system, working alongside finance and the client insights team to ensure high levels of accuracy
  • Manage pricing reviews and administer the changes in the system.
  • Administer PO collection processes to ensure seamless revenue management
  • Ensure client user information is available for set up.
  • Liaise with other teams to ensure pricing guidance and ratecards are readily available

 

Uphold sales principles and best practices:

  • Offer Sales Support to the CPG Team
  • Ensure our revenue systems match with contractual terms
  • Work with the commercial portal team and Finance to identify and implement ongoing enhancements to the sales and financial processes
  • Proactively monitor the sales process to ensure accurate and timely inputs from all partners and ensure records are accurately maintained and up-to-date

Post-sales activity and support:

  • Enter client financial sales information into finance system
  • Develop strong relationships with finance teams to help resolve individual client issues such as late payments
  • Ensure requirements are met for revenue recognition
  • Liaise with client and internal teams over incremental purchases and scoping changes.
  • Prepare revenue reporting for retailer and Circana leadership
  • Support other team administrative requirements, for example ensuring team shared files are maintained regularly, and maintaining contacts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 1-2 years background in sales operations and/or revenue management. CPG, Grocery, FMCG experience preferred.
  • Proficient in all MS Office Suite applications, particularly in Excel with ability to confidently use VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF, and other formulas.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with retailer POS, supply chain or loyalty data would be beneficial, especially in Circana’s Unify platform.
