About the Role

The Communications Coordinator supports LeapFrog's external communications across content production, social media and video. This is a contracting role of 8 hours per week until December. Reporting to the Senior External Affairs and Communications lead, the role spans research, content creation, and channel management – helping to bring the firm's mission and investment story to life across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of impact investing and business, strong writing and video editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Research portfolio companies, industry trends, and the impact investing landscape to inform content strategy and output.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a communications and content calendar across platforms and content types.
  • Assist with broader communications projects as required, including awards submissions, newsletter production, and stakeholder materials.
  • Edit and produce video content for social media, event highlights, and thought leadership outputs.
  • Coordinate and produce visual assets across communications activity, liaising with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish content across LeapFrog's social media channels, maintaining a consistent brand voice and cadence.
  • Track and report on content performance using platform analytics.
  • Manage and maintain multimedia asset libraries, including video, photography, and design files.

 

Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Communications or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
  • An excellent portfolio of relevant work creating content and driving engagement.
  • Experience managing website content, ideally on WordPress.
  • A background in journalism or policy/technical writing is preferred.
  • Expertise in delivering digital content, growing, and managing audiences, ideally on LinkedIn and Twitter channels.
  • A wide range of content creation skills and/or a high degree of comfort managing content production in all relevant media.
  • Familiarity and affinity with impact investment and emerging markets.
  • A passion for succinct, clear, and magnetic writing that turns big ideas into eye-catching headlines.
  • Clear passion for delivering meaningful social impact alongside top-tier financial returns.
