The Opportunity 

Join QBE’s AUSPAC Claims business as a Compliance Manager, managing day-to-day compliance, incident management, and control effectiveness across Claims. 

This role sits in the 1st line, giving you real visibility and influence over how compliance and risk are embedded operationally. You’ll play a key role in identifying risks, strengthening controls, and improving outcomes across the claims lifecycle.

Your new role 

  • Provide 1st line compliance oversight across claims operations 

  • Identify and escalate risks, control gaps, and emerging issues 

  • Monitor control effectiveness and support remediation initiatives 

  • Manage incidents, breaches and root cause analysis 

  • Partner with stakeholders to uplift compliance and risk capability 

  • Deliver reporting, insights and trends to support decision-making 

 

About you 

  • Experience in risk, compliance or claims (insurance/Workers Comp ideal) 

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and obligations 

  • Experience managing incidents and remediation activities 

  • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills 

  • Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing capability 

  • Background in claims operations or service delivery preferred
