Job Description

Love great storytelling, smart content strategy and leading a team to make communications count?

Ramsay Health Care is looking for a dynamic Content and Channels Manager to lead our talented team and turn communications priorities into compelling, high-quality content that connects with our people, strengthens our reputation and brings our strategy to life.

This is an opportunity to shape how we plan, create and deliver content across a diverse range of internal and external channels, ensuring the right stories reach the right audiences at the right time.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and inspire the Content and Channels team, building a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on quality, creativity and delivery.
  • Turn strategy into stories by translating communications priorities into engaging, audience-focused content across Ramsay Pulse, Ramsay Newsroom, social media and other channels.
  • Drive content planning and workflow, managing priorities, team capacity and competing deadlines to ensure work is coordinated and delivered efficiently.
  • Raise the editorial bar, setting high standards for storytelling, brand consistency, accuracy and content quality.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand audience needs and deliver content that informs, engages and makes an impact.
  • Champion smarter ways of working, using data, audience insights, digital tools and AI-enabled technology to improve content effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strengthen content governance, ensuring digital assets, approvals, accessibility and publishing standards are consistently managed.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in content, communications, journalism, corporate affairs, marketing or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a content, communications or creative team in a complex organisation.
  • Strong editorial judgement and a flair for turning complex information into clear, engaging stories.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities, reactive requests and tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative leadership style, with the confidence to coach your team and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, audience engagement and exploring new ways to create meaningful content.

Why join Ramsay?

At Ramsay Health Care, your work will help connect people, share powerful stories and support communications that make a difference across our organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our content approach, empower a talented team and bring creativity and fresh thinking to a fast-moving communications environment.
