We’re looking for a Community & Content Manager with a social-first mindset and a passion for bringing brands to life across digital platforms. This hybrid role blends content strategy, community engagement and performance reporting, ensuring work is insight-led, on-brand and culturally relevant.

You’ll be the day-to-day driver of content and community across multiple clients, collaborating closely with creative, strategy and account teams. From content calendars and community responses to performance insights and AI-powered experimentation, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how our clients show up online.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic creative environment where you'll help build bold, memorable brand experiences.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Lead the development of monthly content calendars across always-on and campaign initiatives
  • Brief creative teams on platform-specific content requirements, rooted in brand strategy and cultural trends
  • Collaborate with our Senior Creative Maker to bring social-first ideas to life from concept through to execution
  • Monitor and manage client social communities, publishing content, engaging audiences and responding in-brand
  • Identify UGC opportunities, platform trends and audience insights to inform ongoing strategy
  • Craft monthly and quarterly performance reports that distill platform data into actionable insights
  • Shape boosting strategies with clear recommendations on targeting, creative and spend
  • Maintain planning tools such as Excel, Google Slides and monday.com to track and manage workflows
  • Stay across platform updates, algorithm changes and audience behaviour shifts, sharing key takeaways internally
  • Act as a key point of contact for content and community, contributing to WIPs, workshops and reviews

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • A strong grasp of platform-native storytelling and community dynamics
  • Experience managing content and community across multiple social platforms and clients
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with a clear understanding of brand tone of voice
  • Confident briefing and collaborating with creatives to deliver standout work
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI and editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere to enhance creative output
  • Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious, proactive and collaborative, with a strong interest in culture and creativity

We believe great work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach including required in-office days. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

AKQA is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.
