The Role

We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic Digital Content Coordinator to help support Morningstar's digital publishing and content delivery activities.

In this role, you'll work with teams across Editorial, Investment Research, Marketing, Wealth Management and Product to help ensure content is planned, scheduled and published smoothly across our digital channels.

This is not a content writing role. Instead, you'll focus on coordinating publishing activities, managing schedules, supporting workflows and helping teams deliver great digital content experiences for our audiences.

You'll be someone who enjoys staying organised, working with different people and keeping projects moving. You'll have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in digital publishing, content operations, project coordination or marketing operations. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of teams while helping Morningstar deliver trusted investment insights and content to investors and financial advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Publishing

  • Help manage and update the content publishing calendar.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and publishing of articles, research reports, webinars and podcasts.
  • Ensure content is published accurately and on time across digital channels.
  • Track deadlines and help keep publishing projects on schedule.
  • Flag any issues that could impact delivery timelines.

Working with Teams

  • Collaborate with teams across Editorial, Research, Marketing, Wealth Management and Product.
  • Support the coordination of content and publishing activities.
  • Help organise planning meetings and follow up on actions.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on publishing timelines and progress.
  • Build positive working relationships across the business.

Process & Workflow Support

  • Support publishing processes and day-to-day workflows.
  • Help manage content reviews and approvals.
  • Maintain publishing templates, guides and documentation.
  • Assist with improvements to publishing tools and processes.
  • Contribute to delivering a consistent, high-quality publishing experience.

Continuous Improvement

  • Look for ways to improve efficiency and simplify processes.
  • Share ideas and feedback to enhance publishing workflows.
  • Support the rollout of new tools and ways of working.
  • Help create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. You may have experience in content coordination, marketing, publishing, project administration, communications or another role where organisation and stakeholder coordination were key.

You'll bring:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Confidence working with different stakeholders and teams.
  • Some experience using content management systems (CMS), marketing platforms or project management tools would be beneficial but is not required.
  • Experience in publishing, media, marketing or financial services is helpful but not essential.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.

What Success Looks Like

  • Content is published accurately and on schedule.
  • Publishing activities are well organised and coordinated across teams.
  • Stakeholders have clear visibility of priorities and timelines.
  • Processes continue to become simpler and more efficient.
  • Morningstar delivers high-quality digital content experiences for its audiences.

Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis. In most of our locations, our hybrid work model is four days in-office each week. A range of other benefits are also available to enhance flexibility as needs change. No matter where you are, you'll have tools and resources to engage meaningfully with your global colleagues.
