Profile Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing podcasts, interviews, or content repurposed into short- and long-form formats.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; bonus if familiar with After Effects or motion graphics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices for video distribution, including trends and audience behaviors.
  • Solid audio editing and mixing skills to ensure clear, balanced, professional podcast sound.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with potential guests, hosts, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, booking schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative storytelling ability to identify engaging moments in conversations and repurpose them into compelling content.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the wider team.

Core responsibilities:

  • Edit raw podcast recordings into professional, full-length episodes with high-quality audio and video.
  • Cut podcast episodes into engaging short-form clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Produce long-form video content for YouTube and other channels, ensuring storytelling flow, pacing, and brand alignment.
  • Add captions, motion graphics, intros/outros, and brand elements to ensure consistent, engaging presentation across all content.
  • Repurpose and format content for multiple platforms, adapting length, aspect ratio, and style to suit each channel.
  • Research, contact, and secure potential podcast guests, handling communication and coordinating schedules.
  • Maintain a booking calendar, organize guest information, and liaise with hosts to prepare for upcoming recordings.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social media, and production teams to maximize reach and ensure content aligns with overall strategy.
