Role Overview:

The GTM coordinator is responsible for assisting a strategic functional area that provides focus to the delivery of successful Go-to-market activations. This role supports the development of creative event strategies and experiences that are aligned to the broader business unit objectives. These may include industry sponsorships, product campaigns, Internal and customer meetings, events and roadshows, as well as industry activations such as conferences, exhibitions, business seminars and hospitality such as corp box entertainment.

Role responsibilities:

The GTM coordinator is responsible for (but not limited to): Contributing to development and implementation of event strategies and campaigns that support the business units growth aspirations and capitalises on our value propositions across our solutions.

Keep event plans under budget and on schedule while maintaining accurate records of all expenditures. Manage all aspects of event logistics and project management including supplier and working with the vendor alliance team for vendor engagements.

 Taking ownership of individual event logistics project plans and conducting post-event analysis in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the events/campaigns.

Ownership of event specific branded items, such as banners, and merchandise, keeping track of existing stock and reordering stock based on business needs (this includes ticketing for events).

Manage supplier relationships, including processing of invoices.

Advocate Datacom brand across business and make sure it's displayed to highest standards during all event campaigns.

Collaborate closely with the marketing leads when required and business units to implement an integrated event and marketing strategy, aligned to our Group brand.

Assisting the Strategy and GTM lead on developing, evaluating, and implementing strategies to increase ROI from event initiatives.

Working with cross-functional teams to align event strategy with business objectives and brand purpose.

Support and coordinate hybrid onsite/virtual events which engage, connect, entertain audiences.

Where necessary develop copy for event invitations, registration pages and surveys

Support messaging for marketing and digital campaigns to drive registrations and engagement when required

Ownership of GTM event-based templates and management of tools and subscriptions.

Assist with ad hoc travel and logistic arrangements for activations.


Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Qualifications:

Essential:

Self-starter with a can-do attitude with a strong desire to take a hands on approach to supporting the coordination and creation of events.

Previous ability to work under pressure with non-negotiable timelines. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, everevolving large corporate environment.

Team player who can work alongside and cross-functional teams and various geographies, working closely with the Strategy and GTM General Manager and Alliance managers as well as independently effectively.

Experience with event prospectus, briefs, campaigns and event projects.

Completion of successful events and related projects start to finish meeting expectations, budget and timeline.

Ability to think outside the box with demonstration of problem solving skills

Effective presentation skills.

Excellent customer relationship building and management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Consultative and planning skills. Highly organised.

Ability to escalate with a solution focus

Desirable:

Knowledge and experience with software and tools used for marketing and events.


Qualifications and Certifications:

Essential: 3years+ first hand experience within corporate events and marketing.

Desirable Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related discipline.
