Job Description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Systems Manager to lead the support, optimisation and continuous improvement of Sydney Airport's corporate systems portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine people leadership with day-to-day operational oversight of critical enterprise platforms that support teams across Finance, Commercial, Aviation, People & Culture, Legal, Risk and Corporate Services. The role is responsible for ensuring these systems remain reliable, secure and aligned to the evolving needs of the business.

Leading a team of four, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and support partners to drive service excellence, system enhancements and technology-enabled innovation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite who has experience overseeing multiple enterprise applications, including CRM and HR systems, while balancing operational support, stakeholder engagement, commercial management and delivery outcomes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Lead the support, governance and optimisation of a portfolio of corporate systems, ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose.
  • Partner with business leaders across Finance, Commercial, Aviation, People & Culture and other corporate functions to understand operational requirements and deliver technology solutions that create value.
  • Manage and develop a team of four specialists while building capability, driving accountability and fostering a customer-focused culture.
  • Oversee vendors, managed service providers and support partners, including contract performance, commercial outcomes and service delivery.
  • Manage the Corporate Systems budget, balancing operational expenditure, investment priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive enhancements, automation opportunities and system improvements across enterprise platforms including Oracle EBS, CRM and HRIS environments.

About you

  • Proven experience leading application support, enterprise systems or technology operations teams in a complex environment.
  • Strong background supporting and optimising Oracle E-Business Suite, with experience managing multiple enterprise platforms simultaneously, including CRM and HRIS solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical technology outcomes.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing vendors, service providers, contracts, budgets and technology investments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application lifecycle management, including support, change, release and operational service management.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role where you can move between strategic discussions, operational support and team leadership.
