THE ROLE

● Conduct credit analysis on a broad range of commercial credit applications, including reviewing bank statements, credit reports and financial statements

● Make lending decisions in line with a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA), credit policy and risk appetite

● Work closely with the sales team and liaise with brokers and customers to obtain information for assessment

● Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to business stakeholders

● Ability to manage high volumes and prioritise tasks

THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH

● Previous working experience as a Credit Analyst/Underwriter operating within a DLA (Essential)

● Experience with SME credit assessment and an understanding of the SME market (Preferred)

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

● A continuous improvement mindset, embracing change and thriving from it
