Role sits within Marex Capital Markets group.

Role Summary

Intermediate Middle Office Analyst position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team. Energetic and proactive individual, responsible for ensuring that our complex swap trades flow seamlessly from execution to settlement. This role will form a key pillar in the establishment and growth in APAC of Interest Rate Swap Agency Execution within the Capital Markets division.
All employees are expected to understand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Trade Validation & Lifecycle Management. Monitor and affirm Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Overnight Indexed Swaps (OIS).
  • Monitor and manage trade flow and electronic execution through MarkitWire and TradeWeb.
  • Ensure all trades are accurately captured and reflected in Calypso for downstream reporting and risk management.
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks, valuation discrepancies, and settlement hurdles in real-time.
  • Work closely with Traders, Sales, and Counterparties to ensure timely trade matching and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage day-to-day trade confirmations to customers
  • Ensure internal and external data accuracy and completeness

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA, CFTC, ASIC
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
  • To escalate risk events immediately.
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time
