What we do at Weir

We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact

We’re looking for a commercially driven Crushing & Screening Sales Manager to lead regional growth across crushing, screening and broader comminution solutions.

This is a high‑impact leadership role where you’ll step into a business with huge growth potential — shaping market direction, building momentum from a low base, and leading a team focused on winning new opportunities.

You’ll bring a hunter mindset, strong commercial instinct, and the resilience to keep showing up — even when the answer is “no” — because success comes from persistence, adaptability, and doing things differently.

Working closely with product management, engineering, operations and aftermarket teams, you’ll ensure customer challenges are translated into practical, high‑value solutions that deliver real impact.

What you’ll do

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

  • Drive Market Growth & New Business: Lead the regional go‑to‑market strategy, identify target segments, and proactively build a pipeline of opportunities in a developing market.
  • Turn Strategy into Results: Analyse market feedback, understand why opportunities are won or lost, and continuously refine your approach to convert more wins.
  • Strategic Accounts & Customer Leadership: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influence early in the buying cycle, and position solutions that solve real customer challenges.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Build: Lead and develop a high‑performing sales team operating in a competitive, rejection-heavy environment — driving resilience, accountability and consistent activity.
  • Work Cross‑Functionally to Deliver Outcomes: Collaborate with engineering and application specialists to shape the right solutions while maintaining a strong commercial focus on winning the opportunity.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven success in sales, business development or commercial leadership (technical or industrial environments preferred)

  • A strong hunter mentality with experience building pipeline and winning new business

  • High levels of resilience and persistence — comfortable being told “no” and motivated to keep going

  • A strategic and growth mindset, able to adapt, influence and turn challenges into opportunities

  • Ability to lead and motivate others, particularly in high‑pressure, target-driven environments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly

  • Exposure to mining, industrial or technical environments is beneficial, but deep technical expertise is not essential

  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly
