About the role

Lendi Group is at a really exciting crossroads, and we’re reinventing how internal communications connect our people to our culture and our founders’ vision.

As part of the Founder’s Office and reporting to the Head of Communications, the Culture & Communications Partner is responsible for making sure 1,100+ team members across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines feel connected, informed and inspired every day.

You’ll design and deliver the moments, stories and updates that bring our culture to life – from big celebrations to tough messages – and make sure our people are always on the journey with us.

You have a natural instinct for turning strategy into simple, human stories people actually want to read, watch and share, and you know when to use AI – and when a human hand is needed.

You’ll own the voice, tone and flow of our internal channels (Confluence, Slack and beyond), curating them to feel less like noticeboards and more like a social feed, and you understand the right channel, message and moment to drive clarity, action and engagement.

In this role, you won’t just manage communications – you’ll help define what great internal comms looks like in a founder-led, AI-native business. This is career‑defining work where you’ll push yourself creatively, influence culture, and experiment with new ways to connect people at speed.

This role is Sydney‑based with occasional travel to other offices for key moments and events.

Job Description

  • Own the internal comms plan and calendar. Set clear standards for voice, tone and timing, and keep the work moving in step with company priorities.
  • Keep our channels simple and useful. Tidy what we have, retire what doesn’t serve a purpose, and improve navigation and findability.
  • Run a straightforward intake and approval process so requests are triaged, prioritised and closed out on time.
  • Write and edit clear, human updates for Slack, Confluence, leadership notes, company meetings and keynote presentations – and more.
  • Make the big moments land. Help plan and produce All Hands and other key updates – from preparation and run sheets to follow‑ups.
  • Work with the Content Creator to capture and share the moments that matter.
  • Find and manage speaking, podcast and interview opportunities for Lendi Group leaders; prepare briefs, bios and talking points.
  • Own the corporate awards calendar: gather evidence, draft submissions, meet deadlines and share results.
  • Keep the corporate website current with small content updates (larger changes handled with Marketing).
  • Support the Head of Communications on media and stakeholder engagement when required.
  • Measure what matters – reach, engagement and comprehension – and use feedback to improve the next piece of comms.
  • Create simple playbooks and checklists that help leaders self‑serve the basics without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in internal communications/employee engagement, corporate communications or public relations, with strong editorial craft and judgement.
  • Sharp writer and editor who turns complex topics into concise, human messages, and can craft effective AI prompts.
  • Hands‑on channel ownership: Confluence or Slack experience valued but not essential.
  • Proven experience producing content for strategic team events, e.g., quarterly updates or All Hands meetings.
  • AI‑literate: you use AI tools for speed and scale, and you know where human judgement is non‑negotiable.

Additional Information
