Job Overview: As a Customer Program Manager, you will play a critical role in translating customer needs into actionable engineering and product strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure that Morse Micro’s solutions meet and exceed customer expectations. Your insights will drive product documentation, software development, and ecosystem enablement, enhancing both customer support journeys and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer and Market Requirements Translation:
    • Work closely with customers, sales, and product management to gather and prioritize customer and market requirements.
    • Translate customer needs into detailed product specifications and roadmaps.
    • Drive alignment between customer expectations and product development, ensuring Morse Micro’s products meet market demands.
  2. Customer Support and Satisfaction:
    • Manage Tier 2 customer support journey, setting and tracking metrics to measure performance and satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement efficient support processes to improve response times and overall customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with support and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
  3. Training and Enablement:
    • Identify training requirements and agendas for internal and external sales teams, Field Application Engineers (FAE), and distribution partners.
    • Create comprehensive training materials and lead training sessions to elevate technical knowledge and sales capabilities.
    • Support FAEs and Sales teams during the customer evaluation phase, offering technical guidance to drive product integration.
  4. Technical Liaison and Product Integration:
    • Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, facilitating communication to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
    • Gather and translate customer feedback into actionable items for internal corrective actions within engineering and product management.
    • Provide technical solutions and support to customers during the product lifecycle, from initial evaluation to production.
  5. Documentation and Ecosystem Enablement:
    • Create application notes, FAQs, KBAs and material to aid in the design-in process and answer customer questions
    • Identify how we best support customer design activities for wireless & microcontroller products by working closely with the FAE, application engineering and design teams

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A solid professional, with a minimum of 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proven experience in program management, customer support or a similar role within the semiconductor or wireless industry.
  • Some technical background in wireless and microcontroller products, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to develop strong working relationships cross-functionally and an ability to lead with influence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building a product from concept to production
  • Familiarity with embedded software and RF networking, preferably 802.11 series standards etc.
  • Exposure to customers and customer requirements and translating to project scope
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
