Manly Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising are an integral part of Sydney’s transport and tourism system, but they are more than that. They are a part of Sydney’s identity adding to the vibrant tapestry of the finest harbour in the world.  

Our Fantasea Cruising business complements the ferry services with its leisure-oriented experiences connecting Circular Quay, Manly, Watsons Bay and Taronga Zoo, as well as seasonal whale watching cruises, special event packages and private charters.

Our marine entities operate under the NRMA Group, one of Australia’s most iconic and trusted brands, that is proudly member-owned. 

Job Description

What you’ll do  

We are on the lookout for experienced Customer Sales Representatives who also prides themselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences to join our NRMA Marine team. Your ‘office’ will be working on one of the most iconic harbours in the world!

We will be opening an additional ticket booth at Eastern Pontoon to better support our customers during busy periods. You must be able to work on a casual basis on a 7-day rotating roster with availability between 8am-5pm. Must be able to work evenings and busy event seasons.

What You’ll Bring  

  • Proven experience working in a sales environment, including the ability to identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Focus on self-presentation, a strong conversationalist and takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen attentively, demonstrate patience with customers and problem solve effectively
  • Demonstrates high level of professionalism, ability to maintain confidentiality and adherence to organisational policies and procedures
  • Ability to operate a telephone system, computer systems and other office equipment
  • Can work confidently on your own while also being a great team player
  • General knowledge of Marine products and Sydney Harbour will be highly regarded
