The Customer Success Manager - Education is responsible for ensuring the long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth of CT’s education customers, with a strong focus on secondary schools. This role builds trusted relationships with school leaders, business managers, ICT teams, and education stakeholders, helping them maximise the value of CT’s managed services, technology solutions, and strategic support. By understanding the unique operating environment of schools, including teaching and learning priorities, student wellbeing, cyber safety, infrastructure reliability, and budget considerations, the role ensures customers receive proactive guidance, responsive support, and measurable value from their partnership with CT. 


Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of education customers, building trusted relationships with school principals, business managers, ICT leaders and key operational stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each school’s strategic priorities, technology roadmap, teaching and learning environment, compliance requirements and evolving technology needs.
  • Act as the primary relationship owner, ensuring customers consistently realise value from CT’s services and feel supported across day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention and account growth through proactive engagement, regular check-ins and structured success planning.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce technology services that align with school priorities, including cyber security, cloud, modern workplace, infrastructure, networking, device management and digital learning environments.
  • Lead business reviews and strategic meetings, translating service performance, technology opportunities and customer needs into practical outcomes.
  • Partner with Service Delivery, Sales, Technical Services, Projects and onsite support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Monitor customer health, service trends, risks and feedback, developing action plans to address concerns and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Support the adoption of new technologies and services, helping schools maximise their investment, improve staff and student experiences and reduce operational friction.
  • Proactively manage renewal readiness, customer risks and growth opportunities while maintaining a strong customer-first approach.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Service Delivery or a similar client-facing role, ideally within education, schools or a complex technology services environment.
  • Understanding of managed IT services, cloud, infrastructure, networking, cyber security, modern workplace, device management and technology support models.
  • Understanding of the technology needs of schools, including classroom technology, staff and student devices, identity and access, network reliability, data protection and cyber safety.
  • Exposure to technology vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, HPE, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, VMware or similar would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to align technology solutions to school goals, budgets, compliance requirements and operational priorities.
  • Ability to identify customer risks, retention opportunities, service improvements and opportunities for account growth.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams through to school executives and leadership teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and practical advice.
  • Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage multiple customers, priorities and internal stakeholders while maintaining strong follow-through.
  • A genuine customer-first approach, with a focus on delivering measurable value, building long-term partnerships and supporting positive outcomes for schools.
