About the Role (Our Why)

Datacom's Australian Cybersecurity Consulting team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant with deep IAM expertise to join us permanently in Melbourne.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to build a long-term career delivering complex, meaningful identity and access management work across high-profile enterprise clients. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values quality delivery and technical excellence — bringing your Saviynt knowledge to some of Australia's most challenging IAM environments.

Whether you're shaping solution architecture, rolling up your sleeves on a complex implementation, or guiding clients through their IAM maturity journey, you'll have the autonomy to do your best work backed by a team that supports you.

Please note: Due to the nature of our client engagements, applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be considered for this role.

What you'll do (Your Why)

  • Design and implement Saviynt identity governance and access management solutions across enterprise client environments
  • Gather and analyse client business and technical requirements to inform and shape WIAM solution design
  • Contribute to solution architecture across WIAM — from planning and design through to delivery and post-implementation support
  • Develop and customise integrations and workflows within Saviynt to deliver tailored client solutions
  • Define and document business processes, technical specifications, and solution architecture artefacts
  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders — presenting solutions, translating technical concepts, and driving outcomes
  • Support the assessment and maturation of WIAM capabilities including Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, SSO, and MFA

What You Will Bring

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Melbourne based, or willingness to relocate
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering Saviynt implementations in enterprise environments
  • Solid understanding of IAM disciplines including Identity Governance, Data Access Governance, Privileged Access Management, and Role Engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Identity technologies (Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft Identity Manager) is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with competing IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, or One Identity is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as L100 and L200 required
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills — you're comfortable bridging business, technology, and project management teams
  • A self-motivated, outcomes-driven mindset — you take ownership and deliver

Ready to take your IAM career to the next level?

If you're passionate about identity security and want to do your best work in a team that values expertise and impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now or reach out directly for a confidential conversation about the opportunity.
