A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for Data Scientist reporting to General Manager Data Science & Delivery.

A bit about your role

The Data Scientist designs and delivers advanced analytics and solutions using machine learning, solvers and data mining to solve business problems. They partner with stakeholders to define problems and hypotheses, develop repeatable, interpretable and scalable models, and integrate those models into production data products with cross functional teams, owning model performance, reliability and operationalisation.

They build data driven use cases, collaborate with data engineering and QA using agile methods to produce high quality data products, surface actionable insights for the organisation, explore emerging technologies for business benefit, and clearly communicate analytic approaches and outcomes to business partners.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate is a data scientist with machine learning capability and experience in data governance, management, or architecture. They are proficient in Python  and data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), SQL (Spark preferred), and source control (Git), with hands‑on experience delivering data products on cloud platforms (AWS) and using Infrastructure as Code.

They combine strong data science expertise and a proven record of delivering clear, repeatable data products with business acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills, and strong planning and organisational capability.
