Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and driven Senior Consultant to join our Technology practices team in the Sydney. In this role, you will be driving data-led strategic decision-making for Fortune 100 Technology clients with particular focus on product sales. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis, data mining and exploration, experimentation and visualization techniques to tell the business stories behind tech product sales and drive actionable insights for business leaders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams and senior stakeholders in client’s sales organisation to drive high-impact use-cases, define sales roadmaps and  to support data needs.

  • Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the sales funnel, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations.

  • Acquire a deep understanding of existing business using data to build insights driving business decisions/initiatives critical to scale – gather requirements, build proof-of-concepts/ productionalized solutions, lead peer-reviews and stakeholder presentations.

  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting/analytics through process or tooling enhancements or automation.

Must-have skills:

  • Domain knowledge: In-depth understanding of the technology industry and software / hardware product sales journeys.

  • Language skills: Native language skills (read, write, speak) in Japanese and English with ability to understand and convey complex concepts with high degree of fluency.

  • Technical expertise: Strong hands-on experience in analysing large volume of data using SQL and Python, combined with understanding of Relational databases and Statistics, such as Hypothesis testing, A/B testing, Forecasting, Causal Inferencing, etc.
