At Ecolab, we're looking for a motivated and curious Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. In this role, you'll become a trusted business partner who helps guide supply chain decisions that impact customers, production planning and business performance.

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for analysing product demand, identifying trends and partnering with sales teams to develop accurate forecasts.

You'll take historical sales data, system-generated forecasts and commercial insights and transform them into business recommendations that influence operational and strategic decisions across Ecolab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse sales and demand trends using Excel

  • Build and maintain forecasting models and planning files

  • Identify growth opportunities, demand variability and business risks

  • Partner with sales teams to understand upcoming opportunities and market changes

  • Challenge assumptions and ask insightful questions to improve forecast accuracy

  • Update and maintain forecasts within planning systems

  • Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes

  • Present forecast changes and business insights to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with supply chain, commercial and leadership teams to support business planning activities

  • Advanced Excel capability

  • Experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs and other core Excel functions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to work confidently with a variety of stakeholders

  • Curiosity and willingness to ask questions

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
