What your typical day will look like
An Account Executive at dentsu B2B will take your career to the next level, exposing you to ways of working with global brands and media planning across B2B and B2C environments. Reporting to the Account Director, this role plays an important role taking ownership of the execution of media plans. This means you’re proactively working with clients, internal teams, and external media partners (digital and traditional media) to bring ideas to life, review performance, optimise where possible, and report back on performance.
In return, you’ll continue to build upon your knowledge of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) media planning across a variety of audiences, platforms, mediums and industries to grow your career in advertising.
This includes
- Establishing an effective working relationship with our clients, our agency teams, and the media owners we work with.
- Campaign setup, buying and reporting, delivering effective campaign insights and closely supporting the Account Manager with delivering integrated media plans.
- Supporting the Account Coordinator with their development and upskilling.
- Working with clients on any broader requests they might have.
- Demonstrate and apply intermediate level media maths and terminology, as well as the usage of media industry tools and technology to assist you.
- Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reporting
- Maintain and share your knowledge across the latest market developments within the media and advertising industry, related platforms, best practices and tools across the Australian media landscape.
A bit about you
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar communication planning and client service role within a medium to large media/advertising agency.
- A high attention to detail and naturally inquisitive.
- Proactive communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and teams.
- Effective time management and project management skills.
- Naturally collaborative and enjoys working as a part of a team.
- Mid-level experience with MS office suit, particularly Excel.
- A passion for the advertising and media industry, self-motivated to keep up to date with industry developments, practices and tools.
