Job Description

• Great opportunity for an experienced Retail Designer to work on innovation projects
• Based in Sydney with hybrid working

As a Designer, you will lead the evolution of retail design by driving innovation, efficiency, and customer engagement across Endeavour Group brands. 

You will focus on developing next-generation retail formats and initiatives, integrating emerging technologies, and optimising design processes to enhance both the customer and team experience.

In this role you will lead the evolving design of formats and initiatives, from concept through to standardisation for Endeavour Group retail brands ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies.

In addition, you’ll also manage senior stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and external partnerships. You will oversee design programs, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment throughout the design lifecycle, including construction and post-implementation reviews.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:

• Concept Development: Create innovative and engaging retail concepts that align with brand strategy and customer experience goals.
• Spatial Planning & Store Layouts: Develop efficient and aesthetically compelling store layouts that optimise customer flow and maximise product visibility across all Endeavour group brands 
• 3D Visualisation & Rendering: Produce high-quality 3D visualisations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Fixture & Merchandising Design: Develop custom fixtures, displays, and in-store experiences that enhance product presentation and brand storytelling.
• Material & Finish Selection: Source and specify materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture to create visually compelling and cost-effective designs.
• Technical Documentation: Produce or manage detailed CAD drawings, elevations, and construction documents for store fit-outs and fixture production.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, architects, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Explore and integrate cutting-edge retail design technologies

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 5 + years experience in retail design for rollout brands
• Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, Industrial Design or a related field
• Strong design and project management skills
• Excels in stakeholder and relationship management both internal and external
• Proficiency in:
  • 3D Modelling & Rendering
  • CAD & Documentation
  • Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Revit, 3D studio Max, Sketch Up, Twinmotion or similar programs will be highly regarded
• Knowledge of, or exposure to, AR/VR & Digital Innovation would be beneficial
