Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Development Analyst, Pacific to join our team. You will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Development Officer Pacific and Vice President of Development in driving the growth of Accor’s network development opportunities within the Pacific region.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis to support the Development team in evaluating new hotel management and franchise opportunities.
  • Assist the Development team in preparing financial projections and analysis to retain existing agreements and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to securing new deals and protecting the existing hotel network.
  • Assist the Vice President of Development in forecast and assess potential new hotel opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Development team to prepare proposal and presentation documents for pitching new opportunities.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for the Global Development Committee and Monthly Development Calls.
  • Conduct data analytics to identify business trends and provide actionable insights that support best practices in development.
  • Creating and updating development marketing material
  • Updating and maintaining the accuracy of the Accor Development CRM database for the Pacific

Qualifications

What we need from you

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
  • Developed understanding across hospitality industry including brands, companies, investors, news, trends and opportunities
  • Strong understanding of general property markets
  • Detailed knowledge of hotel property sector markets across the region
