At Cochlear, data drives better decisions and better experiences. As a Specialist, Digital Analytics, you'll help maximise the impact of our digital marketing investments by delivering insights that inform strategy, optimise performance and improve customer engagement.

Working within the Marketing Technology and Analytics team and based at our Macquarie University Campus, you will analyse digital campaign and website performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations that enhance the effectiveness of Cochlear's owned digital channels.

Responsibilities Include:

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Cochlear's digital analytics framework, developing reports, visualizing performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and IT security standards. This role involves working with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Campaign Manager, and Looker to manage and extend digital tracking infrastructure across Cochlear’s online properties. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and consumer marketing, digital marketing, user experience, marketing automation, IT/web development, privacy, legal, quality, and external advertising agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance Cochlear’s digital analytics framework and reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop and visualize performance metrics to drive optimization of digital marketing campaigns and user engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and IT security standards across digital marketing and analytics activities.
  • Manage and extend digital tracking infrastructure using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Campaign Manager, and Looker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and consumer marketing, digital marketing, user experience, IT/web development, and external agencies, to support digital analytics needs.

About You

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Quantitative Analytics, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years years digital experience within a digital business, ecommerce, digital start up, agency or client side - within digital analytics team
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in GA4 suite – Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker, A/B testing tools
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of proficiency in data analysis, strong attention to detail, and ability to draw data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and web technologies needed to troubleshoot analytics implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a global, cross-functional team.
  • Ability to navigate and problem-solve complex requirements with a consultative mindset.
  • Experience with visualizations and storytelling methods to create dashboards and data analytics reports.
