  • Apply your regulatory, compliance or policy expertise to build AI-powered regulatory and compliance solutions

  • Join a newly created innovation team developing next-generation legal and compliance products

  • Flexible hybrid role with strong career progression into Content Development and Product

The Role

Join a newly created team driving innovation in regulatory and compliance content.

This is not a traditional legal, policy or compliance role. You'll help design and build next-generation compliance solutions, transforming complex legislation, regulatory guidance and policy requirements into structured, practical and scalable content products.

Working end-to-end, you'll move from research through to prototype, creating pilot content, structured datasets, regulatory intelligence resources and new content formats that support real customer workflows and emerging product opportunities.

We're particularly interested in professionals who combine strong research and analytical capability with expertise in compliance, regulation, regulatory policy, governance, risk management or regulatory technology.

This role is ideally suited to professionals working in regulatory affairs, compliance advisory, regulatory intelligence, legal publishing, policy development or RegTech environments who enjoy translating complex regulatory change into practical customer-focused solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research regulatory frameworks, legislation, regulatory guidance and compliance obligations, identifying opportunities for new product and content innovation

  • Analyse regulatory developments, policy changes and regulator expectations to identify emerging compliance risks and customer needs

  • Apply your industry knowledge of compliance, regulation, policy or regulatory risk to develop practical customer-focused solutions

  • Design and build structured content, datasets and prototype compliance solutions

  • Create regulatory guidance, obligation summaries, interpretive content and compliance intelligence resources

  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical, usable content that supports real-world compliance workflows

  • Develop templates, data models and prototype outputs

  • Collaborate with legal, product and technology teams

  • Use AI tools to enhance research, drafting and content creation

What's In It For You

  • Work on greenfield, innovation-led projects and help build new legal and compliance technology products from scratch

  • Influence how regulatory and compliance content is delivered to thousands of professionals across Australia

  • Gain hands-on exposure to AI, data, regulatory intelligence and emerging compliance technologies

  • Apply your compliance, policy or regulatory expertise in a product-focused role without moving into consulting or legal practice

  • Enjoy flexible hybrid working anywhere in Australia

  • Build a long-term career in content development, product innovation and legal technology

About You

  • Law degree or equivalent experience in a regulatory, compliance or policy environment

  • Experience or knowledge within compliance, regulatory affairs, regulatory policy, governance, risk management or RegTech

  • Strong legal, regulatory or policy research and analytical skills

  • Experience analysing legislation, regulatory guidance, regulatory reform or compliance obligations and translating them into practical business or customer-facing content

  • Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory frameworks and convert them into clear, structured and practical outputs

  • Strong information organisation and content structuring skills

  • Interest in legal technology, compliance innovation and emerging regulatory technologies

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and innovative environments

  • Exposure to AI tools or a willingness to learn

Ideal Backgrounds

You may currently be working within:

  • A RegTech or compliance technology provider

  • Regulatory content, legal publishing or regulatory intelligence

  • A policy, regulatory affairs or regulatory reform role

  • A regulator such as ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC or a similar body

  • Compliance advisory, governance, risk or consulting environments

  • Financial services, government or other highly regulated industries

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working in a compliance, regulatory, governance, policy or risk environment

  • Experience with a regulator, legal publisher, regulatory information provider, RegTech business or compliance advisory practice

  • Experience producing regulatory guidance, regulatory analysis, compliance intelligence, obligations registers or policy content

  • Familiarity with regulatory technology, compliance workflow solutions, regulatory change management platforms or legal technology solutions

  • Experience working within financial services, government, corporate compliance or other regulated industries
