At ING Australia, we value individuality and offer careers that reflect your unique strengths. We're seeking an experienced Digital Product Owner to join our Digital and Assisted Channels Tribe and lead ING’s Future of Mobile Program.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with global stakeholders to build and execute the backlog for ING’s new mobile application. You’ll also manage the migration of customers to the new application, ensuring a smooth transition.

As a Digital Product Owner, you’ll analyse and manage requests from internal business stakeholders and external vendors. You’ll take ownership of agreed solutions and oversee the delivery process, including development tasks, data management, and documentation of new processes.

Our ideal candidate will have an extensive background in digital product management, with proven experience in managing major transformation programs and mobile applications. Exceptional business-facing skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organisation are essential.

What you’ll do

  • Maximise business value by prioritising product backlog features and stories.
  • Own and share the product/service vision and roadmap for all business stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver the mobile app and online banking features according to roadmap milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Digital and Delivery teams to ensure understanding and effective sprint planning.
  • Work with User Experience, Product, Marketing, Customer Intelligence, Architecture, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identifying customer personas, validate insights, and develop MVP scope.
  • Enhance the team's knowledge of customer needs, motivations, and behaviours to influence designs for a rewarding customer experience.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive background in digital product management.
  • Proven experience in managing major transformation programs and mobile applications.
  • Exceptional business-facing skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organisation.

What we’re looking for

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Experience with mobile app and online banking
  • Customer-led self-serve initiatives
  • 4+ years as a Product Owner in a complex, technology-based agile environment
  • Proven track record of achieving business objectives through product releases
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge in customer and product discovery, implementation, and measurement processes
