About the Role

Although a well-established capability in the UK, we are on the journey to build out and scale our digital design and product service offering further here in Australia, so we are on the hunt for the next wave of passionate digital experts!

At BJSS Australia, you'll balance business development and hands-on product management. You'll help our presales team position our offerings and work directly with clients to develop and deliver great products. No two projects will be the same, as we work across various industries and product types. 

As a Digital Consultant, you'll:

  • Build strong client relationships: Quickly understand your client's business objectives and challenges
  • Shape product strategy: Articulate and drive a clear product strategy and roadmap
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure we're building the right products
  • Leverage data: Use data to make informed product decisions and measure performance 

When not directly working with clients:

  • Foster product thinking: Help apply product thinking across the entire business
  • Connect globally: Collaborate with our talented team members in the UK
  • Continuously learn: Invest in your professional development to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Support sales: Assist our presales team in positioning our products effectively

In essence, you'll play a pivotal role in driving successful product initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to the overall growth of our business.

About You

  • Results-Oriented: Stay focused on business goals and deliver results, even with limited information 

Qualifications:

  • Product Management Experience: Extensive experience in product management within the software development industry
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in agile environments and understanding agile methodologies
  • User-Centric Design: Solid understanding of user experience principles and best practices
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyse complex problems, and develop effective solutions
  • Independent Work: Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Agency/Consulting Background: Experience working in an agency or consulting environment
