Are you an experienced legal industry leader with the commercial acumen to drive the future of Legal Research Solutions across Australia?

We are seeking to appoint an accomplished Director, Product Management to lead our Legal Research Solutions proposition across Australia. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal Content, this senior role will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, market positioning and overall commercial performance of the Legal Research Solutions portfolio.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Director, Product Management you will:

  • Drive commercial performance for Legal Research Solutions across Australia, including gross sales, retention, pricing and revenue outcomes.

  • Develop and execute the Australian GTM strategy for Legal Research Solutions as both a standalone offering and a connected proposition.

  • Maintain deep market and customer insight by engaging with customers and GTM teams, monitoring legal research needs, competitor activity, industry trends, TR roadmap and future capabilities.

  • Partner with Product and Editorial teams to influence prioritised roadmap decisions, secure support for key initiatives and ensure product service levels are maintained.

  • Support sales execution by collaborating with Solutions Consultants, product experts and BDMs on pursuits, deal teams and customer opportunities.

  • Lead market enablement and launch readiness by working with product marketing teams to deliver current, locally relevant sales resources, collateral and launch plans.

  • Optimise pricing, partnerships and thought leadership by engaging with strategic pricing leads, enabling commercial partnerships, and representing Legal Research Solutions at deal teams and industry events.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Director, Product Management if you have the following required qualifications:

  • 10+ years' legal industry experience, supported by relevant legal qualifications and a strong understanding of the legal market, customer needs and industry dynamics.

  • Extensive direct customer engagement experience, with the credibility to build trusted relationships, understand client priorities and represent the organisation at a senior level.

  • Strong commercial acumen developed over 10+ years, including the ability to identify growth opportunities, assess commercial impact and drive strategic business outcomes.

  • Proven senior stakeholder management capability, with experience influencing, aligning and engaging executive-level internal and external stakeholders.

  • Advanced reporting and financial reporting experience, including interpreting commercial metrics, preparing insights and supporting data-led decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business environments, including ambiguity, competing priorities and cross-functional dependencies.

  • Experience operating effectively within matrix structures, collaborating across functions, regions and leadership teams to deliver commercial outcomes.
