About the team
The Strategy & Operations team sits at the centre of the company’s growth, efficiency, and operational excellence. We are a collaborative group of strategists and operators who translate vision into action, leveraging data insights and business acumen to optimise processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure the business operates effectively at scale.
Reporting to the Head of ANZ, you will act as a senior strategic partner to the region's leadership team, shaping how the business grows and operates across functions. This role goes beyond commercial operations — you will own the connective tissue between strategy, regulatory engagement, people, and product, ensuring the region executes coherently against its long-term ambitions.
Responsibilities:
Own the development and refresh of the region's long-term strategy, translating it into clear priorities across commercial, product, and operational functions
Prepare and deliver board and senior leadership reporting, bringing together commercial performance with the broader strategic and regulatory context
Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies and internal compliance and legal teams, ensuring the business's growth plans align with its regulatory obligations and licensing posture
Partner with People & Talent on organisational design, workforce planning, and cross-functional people matters that extend beyond any single team
Represent regional priorities in conversations with global product and engineering teams, ensuring the roadmap reflects the needs of the local market
Own or coordinate non-commercial strategic initiatives, including brand, partnerships, and corporate projects as they arise
Build strong working relationships with senior leaders across commercial, product, legal, risk, and People & Talent, operating as a trusted advisor across the business
Lead ad hoc strategic projects as directed by the Head of ANZ, bringing structure and rigour to ambiguous, cross-functional problems
We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years of experience, with significant tenure in top-tier management consulting and/or senior strategy roles within high-growth B2B or technology companies
Proven experience operating at, or presenting to, board or senior executive level
Strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple business functions
Experience working in or with regulated industries, and comfort partnering with legal, risk, and compliance teams
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across functions and levels of seniority without formal authority
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and tell a clear, compelling story to senior audiences
Comfortable operating with significant ambiguity, ownership, and autonomy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a chief of staff, corporate strategy, or similar senior generalist role supporting a general manager, CEO, or regional leader
Background in fintech, payments, financial services, or other regulated technology sectors
Experience partnering closely with a strong operational counterpart (e.g. a Head of Revenue Operations) as part of a broader leadership team
MBA or other advanced degree
