Job DescriptionAs Director of Sales & Marketing, you will shape and lead the commercial strategy for NH Collection Sydney, driving revenue growth, market share and brand prominence across all key segments. Partnering closely with the General Manager and regional commercial teams, you will play a critical role in positioning NH Collection as a leading luxury hotel in the Australian market.
This role suits a commercially astute leader who thrives in a high‑profile hotel environment and brings deep expertise across sales strategy, brand‑led marketing, revenue collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will hold end‑to‑end accountability for the hotel’s sales and marketing performance, balancing global brand alignment with agile, market‑responsive execution. You will lead the commercial agenda across corporate, leisure, MICE and group business, working in close partnership with Revenue Management, Brand, Marketing and Distribution teams.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue, RevPAR and market share.
- Lead the annual marketing plan to position the hotel and its outlets across all segments and channels.
- Drive proactive and reactive sales activity, managing pipelines, key accounts and new opportunities.
- Partner with Revenue Management on forecasting, pricing, distribution and RGI performance.
- Lead and motivate the on‑site sales team with clear goals and accountability.
- Manage and grow corporate, leisure and MICE accounts, including RFPs and contract negotiations.
- Build brand presence through local marketing, partnerships, PR and events.
- Oversee brand‑aligned content and assets in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
- Represent the hotel at industry events and within the local market to build profile and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies and governance requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Senior Sales & Marketing leadership experience within luxury or premium hospitality.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Proven collaboration with Revenue Management, Brand and Corporate Sales teams.
- Highly effective stakeholder manager, able to influence owners, partners and senior leaders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable outcomes.
